FENCE Show Recap

Team Crouse showed up and cleaned up at FENCE this weekend!

I could not be more proud of my student Kiera. In 3 months, this girl has gone from struggling to hold a posting trot for more than one minute, to WINNING her dressage division today! It gave me chills seeing how far she has come, and the icing on the cake is watching my heart horse inspire her confidence in the saddle, and bringing her home the blue. You go girl!!! 💙 Keep an eye out for her and Dust On The Bottle next month for a test move up!

Rose Velvet showed up ready to strut her stuff in her first ever CT! She performed incredible in her dressage test ending with a 35 in an arena with really rough footing. She then ran a double clear in her SJ round, taking home 4th in a very competitive division! I am so beyond proud of this girl and how far she’s come in only a month and a half! She’ll be moving up for her next test in April!

Lincoln’s Legacy performed quite well! His work has been inconsistent with injuries on my end through the winter, and while he did a level below his normal test, it was his first 2 day away show (which causes him a lot of anxiety) and his first time back in the show ring this year. He came in second and gave a really solid effort in the ring! Looking forward to getting his work more consistent and seeing big move ups this year as soon as this lingering injury lets up!

As always, I’m beyond thankful for my crew who makes all of this possible. Here’s to the first of many shows (and ribbons) this year!! 🐴#TeamCrouseEq
